*** My 15 Minutes ***
"Will the real Andrea Campbell please stand up!"
Yes, I was the subject of a segment for the new version of the gameshow TO TELL THE TRUTH. When producer Rob Lloyd called to ask if I'd be interested, I thought, how could a party/game-lady not want to play one of the best games on TV? Then, when Producer Anne Hill called to reconfirm my interest in the middle of March, I just knew this was an experience I had to be a part of. And it was more fun than expected!

TO TELL THE TRUTH is one of the most flattering encounters ever. To meet two other Andrea Campbells—who must remain that way on studio grounds—is both funny and exhilarating. And the fact that my two counterparts were both lovely, delightful, intriguing women only made the scenario so much better.
Everyone likes to talk about their work, and I had a captive audience. The briefing meetings were like a crash course in Ziggy, and my two favorite imposters had read BRINGING UP ZIGGY and were apt learners.

If you are not familiar with the game, three people are featured who all claim to be Andrea Campbell. An affidavit is read that explains the life and experience of the real Andrea Campbell, and a panel of four celebrity guests (plus audience voters) must ferret out the truth by asking all three a variety of questions. The only catch is, the real Andrea Campbell must tell the truth. And my other "MEs" were so good at lying!!
Of course, there is a small pot of money at stake—and we did win some bucks!

More television coverage
Here Ziggy and I were taped for a segment for Little Rock's KTHV, Channel 11 news. The feature was filmed at my house, highlighting life with a monkey and her future with Helping Hands. Zig got so much attention and was filmed taking a bath, climbing a tree, eating bubbles (from a blow-pipe) and just generally acting like a monk!

Would you believe?
Would you believe there are other Andrea Campbells and we all have a strange connection? It's true.
There is one Andrea Campbell who lives in Canada and she has a cat named "Ziggy." (See photo to the left.)
Another Andrea Campbell is an author and has written a book entitled: The Unauthorized Guide to Ziggy Collectibles, Shiffer Books for Collectors series.
